Goodness! It's been a while since I posted. I'm sorry!
Lots has happened for the past few months. The wedding is scheduled for August 29th, and we are extremely busy. With tons of things left to do, including calling guests up, I have not gotten a good opportunity to sit down and type out my thoughts.
Yesterday at Midnight, I was wide awake on my Macbook Pro continually clicking on the check for update button in iTunes. Yes, I was one of those that wanted to update my iPhone's OS to the newest version, 3.0.
Well, as we all know, nothing happened last night. This morning Apple released info about the release time for the update which will be 1 p.m. EST.
The twittersphere was crazy last night. (btw, get tweetdeck iphone app!) Thousands of people tweeting about the new update. It was a fun experience conversing with all of them at one time.
Well, back to work! Until next time!

Social Media Proposal
Yesterday, we presented our strategic move into the Social Media realm for our company. The meeting lasted about two hours and it was full of interactivity. A couple of years ago, when I first had this idea it was believed that our company's main target audience was considered to be older than the general population of Social Media networks like Facebook and MySpace.
Since then, I think Facebook and Twitter have grown to be such major platforms of communication that our company could not wait any longer to test the waters. Our target audience had started to create our company's groups and profiles without our approval or supervision, and it was time we acted on it.
We created our business profile and member groups on Facebook yesterday afternoon. Accumulating about 15 fans so far, I think we are heading in the right direction. Also, a blogging platform has been decided on and will be implemented by our President and Executive Director.
To provide our target audience with more of a 2-way communication and a new level of urgency.
The plan has been presented and it seems like they liked it. Now to wait for their response and then to the fun part. Executing it.

One Piece Addiction
Anyone who watches anime will tell you how addicting it can be. Just like the smokers and alcoholics, us anime fans are just as bad. We want to watch and read as much japanese anime and manga as we can. Eventually, we'll all become beggars that go to every conference but not be able to afford food or rooms.
What is this world coming to?!
