Software Update 2.0 for the iPhone rolled out this morning and as I eagerly pressed the check for update button in iTunes I completely forgot that the rest of the world was probably doing the same thing.
With over 6 million users clamoring up Apple's update servers, it ultimately timed out. Now reports are coming in all over the world that there are millions of unhappy first gen iPhone owners.
What to do? After a brief call to Apple's customer service (by brief I mean the actual talk was short but the wait time was horrendous) I found out what we "bricked" users need to do.
The answer? Keep trying.
